Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy covers browsing pages, reading documentation, and using download links on v2rayworld.com. This site provides information about V2Ray clients, but does not offer account registration or require an email address. Data processing by client software and its connection services is outside the scope of this website policy.
1. Data We Collect
This is a static website. You can read guides, change languages, and view platform information without submitting your name, phone number, email address, or payment details. The site does not ask you to enter subscription links, server addresses, connection passwords, or client configurations, and reading its documentation does not cause it to access configuration files on your device.
When your browser requests a page, the servers and network services hosting this site receive information needed to handle the request, including your IP address, visit time, requested path, response status, and request headers supplied by your browser. These records help deliver pages, diagnose errors, handle unusual requests, and keep the service running. They do not mean that this site creates personal accounts.
Do not include subscription URLs, authentication details, or other sensitive information in query parameters on this site's URLs. Such information may be recorded in service logs or retained in browser history or shared links.
2. Website Analytics and How We Use Them
We use website analytics to understand which pages people read and which download platforms they choose. Analytics may record page paths, referring pages, browser and device categories, visit times, and interactions such as switching platforms. This helps us make documentation easier to navigate, find broken links, and improve page compatibility.
Analytics describe activity on this website. They are not used to view client server lists, proxy traffic, connection logs, or browsing activity carried through a proxy. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles or sell visit records.
Analytics availability depends on browser settings, content blockers, and network conditions. Blocking analytics requests usually does not affect documentation, but scripts needed for downloads or page interactions should be assessed separately from analytics scripts. Operational logs and analytics data should be retained only as needed for maintenance and analysis; this site does not guarantee a single fixed retention period.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser that may be sent with requests. Local storage is read by this site's page scripts within your browser. When analytics are enabled, they may use cookies to distinguish visits or sessions. Whether cookies are stored and how long they remain depends on what your browser actually records.
Page menus and tab switches rely mainly on the current page state and URL fragments; they do not require account cookies. Your browser cache may store fonts, stylesheets, and scripts to avoid downloading them again. Cached files are different from client configuration files.
You can inspect, restrict, or clear this site's cookies, cache, and local storage in your browser's site settings. After clearing them, you may need to reload pages, and analytics may recognize visits differently. Restricting storage does not also delete server records that have already been created.
4. Downloads and External Services
The download page provides installation package links for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. Download URLs are resolved from a same-origin download manifest, and files are delivered by the deployment's download service; installation packages are not stored in the website's static asset directory. When you use a download link, the file delivery service receives the network request information needed to complete the download.
If a link takes you to another service, its operator explains how that service handles data. This policy does not replace the service's own privacy policy. Before downloading, check the destination address shown by your browser, the file name, and the platform you selected.
After you install and run a client, permissions, saved configurations, subscription updates, and remote connections are handled by the client and related services. Providing guides does not automatically give this website access to that data. Consult the software documentation and keep subscription links and authentication details secure.
5. Policy Updates and Questions
We will revise this policy on this page if analytics methods, download delivery, or page storage practices change, and update the month shown at the top. Because this site does not collect email addresses, policy changes will not be announced by email. Details of any new data use should be added when the relevant feature is introduced.
For help with proxy settings, importing subscriptions, or downloading, see Troubleshooting or Getting Started. These pages are public resources, not channels for submitting personal data. When troubleshooting, do not publicly share complete configurations or logs containing subscription URLs, passwords, or personally identifying information.
